Eiffage Énergie Systèmes delivers an order intake of almost €950 million in Germany in the first half of 2025
Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, has been awarded several major contracts in Germany since the beginning of the year, further consolidating its leadership position in the energy services market on this territory. During the first half of 2025, its order intake in the country totalled close to €950 million.
Alongside long-standing Elomech, Schwarz & Grantz and Nat, the companies Salvia and Eqos acquired in 2023 and 2024 respectively have provided Eiffage Énergie Systèmes with a comprehensive offering and diversified presence across the industry, infrastructure and networks, local authorities and commercial markets throughout the territory. This change in scale has made Germany one of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ largest countries, where it now has a workforce of more than 5000 employees.
Among the many contracts awarded during the first semester was the large electricity transmission deal sealed by Eqos as part of the extension of the electricity grid Rhin-Neckar-Nord Bade. TransnetBW, an electricity transmission grid operator, awarded Eqos a contract to build high-voltage lines and replace cables over a 31 km trunk between Philippsburg and Karlsruhe-Daxlanden. Ultimately, the upgrade will cover the region between Frankfurt am Main and Karlsruhe and considerably increase the electricity grid’s transmission capacity. Works are due to begin in early 2026.
This project will scale up Eiffage’s footprint in Germany’s energy infrastructure market.
