A second stone is laid at our future site in Longvic

On Friday 2 June, a ceremony was held at the future Eiffage Energie Systèmes headquarters near Dijon, to mark the interim phase of its construction.

A second stone is laid at our future site in Longvic

The event was attended by Eiffage Chairman and CEO Benoît de Ruffray, Secretary-General for Burgundy Franche-Comté Regional Affairs Anne Coste de Champeron, Dijon Métropole Vice-President Marie-Hélène Juillard-Randrian, Côte d'Or MP Rémi Delatte, Senator François Patriat, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Regional Director Marc Grattius, and Eiffage Construction Regional Director Christian Birbaud

The highlight of this second stone-laying was the installation of a container.

The site is to have an office building constructed with recycled sea containers in order to reduce its carbon footprint. The solution was provided by B3 Ecodesign, an Eiffage Construction subsidiary which is converting this maritime transport waste for use in real estate projects.

The site covers 12,000 m² of ground, with 2,300 m² of offices and 1,000 m² of warehousing, beneath photovoltaic panels delivering 250 kWp.

This is a fine demonstration of our capacity for innovation and internal synergy, to reduce our carbon footprint and make our sites increasingly more attractive.

The site’s future occupants are currently based in various towns on the outskirts of Dijon and will be moving to Longvic at the end of 2023.
