Renovation of the ventilation system in the Fréjus tunnel. Management of equipment obsolescence and increase in the performance of existing ventilation. Installation of a new ventilation plant in the context of operational changes related to the future commissioning of a second traffic tunnel.

Studies, supply, installation and commissioning

Ventilation:
- 12 400 °C/2h exhaust air fans with 1,000 kW blades that can be adjusted during operation;
- 12 fresh air fans with 1,000 kW blades that can be adjusted during operation.

Energy:
- 60 km of power and control-command cables, including 15 km of fibre-optic cables;
- 13 km of cable trays;
- 24 HV cells and 24 1,600 kVA transformers;
- 24 main low voltage switchboards - disconnectable drawers - 24 disconnectable auxiliary main low voltage switchboards;
- 12 accelerator cabinets.

Control-command:
- 8,500 I/Os / 25,000 CTM points;
- 31 control-command cabinets and racks;
- 10 high-availability PLCs;
- 168 PLCs and RIOMs (Remote Input-Output Modules);
- 134 Ethernet switches;
- 24 12’’ control-command touchscreen consoles.
